Learning from industry leaders at CIVO Navigate NA
As the cloud native landscape evolves rapidly, staying at the forefront of industry trends and best practices is critical to success. At Apex Lab, we are committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions and engaging with top engineering leaders, which is why we’re excited to announce our participation at CIVO Navigate North America 2024, a premier tech event in the tech space.
Our enthusiasm for this event is further fueled by the recent announcements of the lineup by Civo featuring Dagger and Docker Founder Solomon Hykes.
During his time at Docker, Hykes was the CTO, and Chief Architect at this leading cloud-native company. He was responsible for driving forward the technical roadmap for the company and delivering a market-leading open-source platform for distributed applications. He is now at Dagger, a company he founded, where he has led the creation of its programmable CI/CD engine, allowing development in various programming languages and execution across diverse environments.
“We’re honored to have Solomon Hykes headline our 2024 event,” said Civo CEO Mark Boost.
“Solomon revolutionized software development and operations with the creation of Docker and his current work at Dagger, innovating in ways that have inspired many of us here at Civo, and the developer community as a whole. His insights into cloud native technology and vision for the future will set the perfect tone for Navigate attendees.”
In addition to Hykes’ keynote, Navigate NA 2024 will feature sessions led by other industry luminaries. Included in the lineup are:
- Laura Santamaria, Lead Developer Advocate, Dell Technologies – The dangers and benefits of third party tooling
- William Morgan, Co-founder and CEO, Buoyant – The future of cloud native networking
- John Dietz, Co-founder, Kubefirst – Multiregion GitOps platform demonstration
Over the two days, guests will enjoy workshops, talks, networking opportunities, and horizon-expanding exhibits focused on thriving with cloud native tech. Hyke’s keynote will anchor the conference’s cutting-edge program, which will focus on the key themes of innovation, education, and bringing together the brightest minds in the industry.
Solomon Hykes said,
“Cloud native technologies should be open to all, and I’m thrilled to be part of an event that’s leading the way. Open access to cloud native tech has always been something I’ve looked to develop through my work, first with Docker and now with Dagger. It’s great to both be the keynote at an event and surround myself with the community that shares this ethos. I look forward to meeting everyone in Austin.”
