The Mission

With rapid sales growth, Myenergi's newly migrated cloud-hosted servers for customer telemetry data were quickly reaching capacity. We were brought in to build a next-gen telemetry server capable of handling heavy data loads, reducing operational costs, and improving the developer experience to accelerate innovation.

The Solution

Our strategy involved an in-depth assessment of the system load in identifying bottlenecks and AWS cost reporting scrutiny to pinpoint high-cost components. We then directed our development efforts towards eliminating these components, replacing them with elastic scaling elements to dynamically meet demand. In order to provide value early, we iteratively delivered a complex solution by phasing the project into smaller chunks, resulting in an early MVP and a full solution.

The Outcome

Our solution eliminated front-end outages and stabilized costs despite growing user numbers. Over multiple releases, we significantly reduced infrastructure expenses, improved system uptime, and enhanced the speed of feature rollouts.
